As we approach the end of the year, our attention shifts to 2022 and the opportunities the new year brings.

I am frequently asked about the state of the market and what I forecast going forward.

My predictions throughout 2021 were pretty spot on.

For 2022 I see a shift coming. The market for sellers has been extremely hot – maybe the hottest I have ever seen.

I see that continuing in the first quarter, but the rate of appreciation will begin to slow. As foreclosures hit the market and landlords weary from all of the Covid moratoriums sell off their assets, you’ll see a flattening of the rate of increase in home prices.

I do not see prices falling, however, because the demand is still so much greater than supply.

So, for those worrying about the bubble bursting – relax. There is no bubble. Prices are fueled by real demand – nothing artificial.

As investors, I see 2022 being our year. Motivated sellers will feel like they have less options and will be looking for a quick way to unload their properties.

On the flip side, prices will still be rising and houses selling quickly.

We’ll have the best of both worlds.

Now is the time to place your real estate investing business on solid footing and take full advantage of the opportunities coming your way in the new year.

There are huge profits to be made for those who are prepared and taking action.
