“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t…you’re right.”
The words are as correct today as the day they were first spoken. They describe a truth – maybe even a law – of the universe.
What we believe to be true will become our experience. Our perspective becomes our future.
Real estate investing is no different.
In my 20 years in the business I consistently witness two opposing views among investors across the country:
Those that believe it is a down market with no money to be made
Those that believe it is always a great market to make money.
Which view has history proven to be right?
Both!
Each experienced exactly as they perceived.
What are you telling yourself is the “truth”?
What is your perspective on the market? On business? On success? On life, on love, on health?
Be careful with justifying your position though…the one common denominator for all those with whom I have spoken is that:
They believed that history had already proven them to be correct. Their perspective was right.
The funny thing is that the universe has already granted that either way we will always be “right”.
Whatever you believe will ultimately become true for you.
The question is…
Have you chosen the perspective you want to be “right” about?
I challenge you to adjust your perspective to live the life of your dreams.
